What is Lisk?"
Description
Lisk is a framework for building decentralized applications completely in Javascript that maintain the speed, flexibility, and security of the Lisk blockchain.
What Problem is Lisk Solving?
Lisk aims to increase developer adoption of blockchain technology through simplified development. The Lisk framework makes the development of decentralized applications (dAPPs) more accessible. Since the entire SDK is written in Javascript, one of the world's leading programming languages, more and more developers are discovering how feasible it is to create their first dAPP.
What Makes the Lisk Platform Different
Lisk brings unparalleled security, stability and flexibility to the blockchain world. Unlike many cryptocurrencies which fork every time something changes, Lisk applications are built completely in sidechains. As a result the primary Lisk chain isn't affected or slowed down as a result of new developments. This gives Lisk unlimited scalability without compromising the networks efficiency.

How to Invest in Lisk
It's too late to invest in the Lisk ICO, but it's never too late to buy Lisk (LSK) on a cryptocurrency exchange. If you're new to crypto, our Bitcoin 101 email course will teach you everything you need to know to get started buying Lisk and other cryptocurrencies.[/toggler]
How to Mine Lisk
No, you can't mine Lisk the same way you mine Bitcoin. LSK uses delegated proof of stake and not a proof of work system. If you become an active delegate (in the top 101 of votes) you get a share of the fees and rewards of the blocks. But you would need to own a significant percentage of Lisk in order to become an active delegate.
